I am fairly new to this party. What amazes me if the diversity in political ideology among members of the GOP. Somehow- and I could be way off base on this, but it seems more varied than the DEMS. This is a pleasant surprise to me. A lot of what I heard about GOP was from my DEM mother. Basically GOP is rich, racist, or people who are pretender rich, wasting money on war. Being a child I never questioned it but I did wonder why weren’t more blacks GOP. As an adult I had funny views, she thought. Then i met Laura Bush and developed a healthy view of the GOP while I lived in Texas.
