Examination of charitable-giving overhead has a long and storied history, and it’s damned worthwhile. SGK should expect their overhead to be compared to that of other similar organizations, and they should expect their contributions to be affected likewise.

That is true. But given their size, I suspect that the 400K and their expenses are within the expectations. My only point is simply that people seem to believe that organizations like this can run on people pulling 100K a year. Not the way it works. Talent builds successful organizations. Talent costs money. Charities must always maintain certain standards for amount of revenue spent on expenses.
