Yeah, I get that Trayvon’s dead. But I’m not just gonna say, “Well, it’s over. Nothing we can do to prevent these in the future. So just carry on as usual.”

This was a truly senseless death. Trying to make it clear to future Zims that they should stay in their vehicles (and not play at policing) is my overall point. Because that might actually save lives.

So this isn’t about justice so much as establishing a precedent? Even if we can’t prove murder, we should convict him of such to ensure there won’t be copycats?
