Not to mention that dummy rounds or not, firing a MG at positions while wearing a PRESS helmet is the sort of thing that should make all the other media reps there nervous.

Indeed, its the sort of thing that can get a later press helmet perforated by rounds of the same 7.62x54R caliber.

Though those rounds would likely be the 200-grain match-grade rounds used by snipers instead of the 148-grain rounds machine guns use.

Note: The latter sentence was not ‘gun-stroking’, but rather the sort of technical details I often feel the need to spout. I know many facts and I sometimes feel compelled to share them.
