I had given up waiting for it to come back to cable tv (they only played it at 2am which guaranteed I wasn’t getting any sleep that night), I finally order the DVD last week. It will only be the second DVD I own, next to Pink Floyd at Pompeii.

The rape scene in the car is hard to take and for many viewers goes on for far too long. Interestingly, the chauffeur who ends the action is played by the film’s producer, Arnon Milchan, who was opposed to the length of the scene. Oh Sergio, always with the meta!
