People are always waxing poetic about the early days of airline flying. They talk about the leg room. The service. The elegance. They always leave the part out about it used to cost an arm and a leg and that only the very wealthy used to fly at first.

The really cool part was the flight attendant uniforms! Braniff had Pucci designed ones in the 60s and 70s.
