Mono will drop your immune system. I have also seen it reactivate in people on long term steroids or medications for autoimmune disorders (both of which lower the immune system). The biggest cause of a low immune system in this country is chronic stress which is very common in women. Women usually have three full time jobs - paycheck job, child or elder care, and a household to run. People get paid full time money (altough sometimes minimum wage) to perform these jobs. Men usually have 1 1/2 jobs - paycheck job and a part time job helping their wife wth her other 2 full time jobs. However, she usually has to tell him want needs to be done. Of course, not all men have to be told, but I live in the South and most of my patients’ husbands have to be told.

Your Ob/Gyn is probably not trying to worry you about the HPV. Even if it reoccures, it still has an excellent cure rate.

With so many women complaining of fatigue, pain and getting diagnosed with fibromyalgia or just given a dose of anti-depressant —I’m wondering—could HPV reoccurance be part of the equation?
