Remember when Karl Rove (scarily, a voice of reason in the GOP) was trying to warn his party mates that birtherism could be an Obama “trap”?

In a way it was, Obama could’ve dispelled the rumors immediately, but he let it fester and become such an Article of Faith that even when he finally did release his BC, they could not back down, and in doing so let us know how demented they truly are.

Jerome Corsi apparently has written a story that says a Hawaii official has ‘admitted’ that there actually is no nirth certifkit for Obama. (via DoNotLink):

The story isn’t dated, but the couple of nirthers I see on Facebook are circulating it as new. I did point out that they’re insane.
