OT: My Panasonic NU-HS100S came today.
This thing is awesome. I made a hamburger (from sirloin) after doing the initial 5 minute unit prep, and is came out PERFECT.
This thing is the real deal, folks. Why spend thousands for an induction range/cooktop when this $600 counter top beast does a killer job? Sure, $600 is steep, even against the Breville’s highly-rated BOV845BSS—but this thing leaves the Breville’s in the dust.
Highly recommended.
I use induction heating on a couple machines at work. Takes 220v and ramps it up to so high a radio frequency it melts precious metals to 3500F. I kinda wonder if it’s the same kind of induction scaled down or something else with the same name.
