We no longer hear the wailing about the situation in Somalia, I suspect it has lost its tactical position.

They did not care, they were after something.

It’s all part of the bankruptcy of the hard left. They don’t want any action taken against the despots and tyrants in the world. When the US and 35 other nations decided that Saddam crossed all lines and went after him - the hard left said that the US should be going to Darfur. If the US went to Darfur, the hard left would whinge about Iraq or Zimbabwe being the greater horror. So, they try to freeze decisions and if that fails, whatever is done, is wrong.
