I gotta be honest here - for a long time I thought the Cowboys were the second coming of Montana and the ‘49er’s. Then Jerry Jones didn’t like the fact that HIS chosen head coach, Jimmy, started getting more press and WHAM - Jimmy was gone.
I honestly think that although Jerry deserves a lot of credit for taking a laughingstock of a team to the top of the heaps several times, in many ways he’s just too much like George Steinbrenner used to be.
