People objecting to Dawkin’s lack of understanding of theology aren’t really getting it; he’s pointing out a fundamental problem with the philosophical basis of theology that has nothing to do with the existence of god.

As I said, I haven’t really bothered with Dawkins. What I’ve glimpsed doesn’t really look interesting, and I doubt his stuff will enter the canon of philosophy of religion.
