Our recent flight back from Tokyo was on the 787. I would have enjoyed having a window seat but because of the clusterfuck that is reserving with a partner airline through a codeshare we didn’t even know if we could sit together until my husband boarded the plane. (This was after they initially couldn’t find my reservation through the electronic checkin.)

The plane itself was really nice; I don’t know for sure if it was the higher cabin pressure or the fact that the flight to Tokyo had been 14 hours but I felt better getting off the plane than I had in a while. There’s a few nice touches - a fold down cupholder on both the table *and* the chair in front of you (so you can use it with the table up or down), and a folding down footrest even in economy. Also, the power plug worked (a plus compared to the first flight) but the airplane wiring managed to mess with the touchscreen on my Surface so I spent half the flight trying to troubleshoot without having access to the Internet. (It works fine again now that it is not plugged in to the airplane.)
