The backchannel between the Proud Boys and the White House means that the seditious conspiracy goes into the WH.

Time to place bets on who the backchannel was:

Meadows: 5-1
Rudy: 8-1 (2-1 on scotch and soda)
Ginny Thomas: 20-1
Eastman: no odds (he’s my bet on who it was)

Also, as Eastman was Trump’s lawyer, all of his actions here fall into the crime fraud exception and his supposed attorney-client privilege gets pierced. You can’t assert privilege to cover up crime. And Eastman was central to the crimes here. He was coordinating all this and was the go between for Trump and the efforts to end democracy in America on 1/6.

I would think Roger Stone, who was hanging around with the Proud Boys and is a close Trump associate, would be a likely choice for the backchannel.
