Regardless of the law, or your parenting skills, the choice is out of your hands. The daughter will do what she chooses to do. She should not be barred from the medical community because of it.

If your child hasn’t come to you of her own accord, the law can’t make her either. She’ll find another way.

Yes, and all people, children included, will do what they choose. So if my child goes out and destroys another’s property. Am I not responsible? No law or parental voice can make anyone do anything. Should we have all laws rewritten based on that? Should parents be removed from all responsibility based on that? IMHO, there has to be responsibility between the parents and their children. If laws are broken due to bad parents, that is another issue.
