I would describe Roby as center right, certainly right of Bright, but not as far rights as the “Roy Moore types”, as I often call them. I can’t cite specifics in terms of toeing the party line, but she has never done or said anything that I would consider alarming.

Several people I know are urging her to be more aggressive, since Barber is running such an aggressive campaign, but she is determined not to turn her campaign into a mud-fest, which happened in the same race (not Roby - other candidates) in 2008.

I’m looking for an alternative to Bright. I wish Loretta Nall would run again.
