Yeah, the Bright Brotherhood quest is too much of a pain in the ass to run thru.

I habitually avoid it til I’m well over lvl 20, if only because I know the topside is full of feral ghouls that give me bad memories of the Metro tunnels and the lower level full of Nightkin that with an anti-materiel rifle I have a hard time fighting.
