I am, admittedly, surprised that my Congressman Rob Wittman passive-aggressively endorsed the “nominee”.

He’s going to be competing in a Republican convention next year for the gubernatorial nomination, and you think convention delegates won’t be angry he didn’t more strongly support Trump? Especially when Trump’s Virginia head, Corey Stewart, is going to be another candidate.

I guess that means Gillespie is looking at the Senate. But yeah I totally expect Stewart to be the GOP nominee for governor next year. But you’re right. Those convention delegates aren’t going to be happy with guys like Wittman who did the passive aggressive dance. The sad thing is they really think it will help them survive but it’s actually going to lead to their oustings.
