Infiltration is the ultimate answer. It’s how the KKK was finally brought under control and marginalized. They’re free to get together and rant at their meetings, but they can’t pull anything off without the FBI knowing about it, at least not as a group.

It seems to me that we’re beginning to achieve much the same thing with al Quaida and similar groups, given the sudden rash of busts taking place with apparent full knowledge of what was going on.

Good on the FBI, and I hope that’s true of the militias, as well - probably is, as they’ve been a threat for quite a while. You can’t ever get rid of all the nuts, but you have to be able to monitor them
