They always project that Democrats want to redistribute wealth to the poor, but the reality is that GOPers are successful at transferring massive amounts of wealth from all Americans to the richest of the rich. That’s the point of the tax cuts and every tax plan put forth by the GOP over the last 40 years. It’s all about accumulating wealth in the richest Americans while shifting the burdens to everyone else.

And that needs to be front and center in any discussion. Democrats shouldn’t be shying away from this. GOP are totally on board with redistribution of wealth. They want to take from the poor and middle class and give it to the richest people on the planet.
