No, because the difference between appearing as a hypocrite and being a hypocrite doesn’t seem significant to me when compared to live or dead brother.

In order to ask a question, which you seem to prefer: Why do you need to accept your brother’s death when in other instances you would not? More specifically, why do you need to accept it because of your views on policy? Why is your desire of maintaining your status of not being a hypocrite in policy questions determining whether you accept your borther’s death or not?
