I try to see a silver lining here - if the SC were to actually do the right thing, in a way it could help the GOP by taking an increasingly unpopular policy issue off the table for them.

If Scalia and his buddies let their bigotry hang free, hopefully they’ll be welding Republicans to an issue that will continue to lose them young votes for the foreseeable future.

Still would suck though.
