It is beautiful. Like a big old jewel (emerald) floating along.

But it is also depressing as the reason the colors are in the bottom like that may be warmer sea waters leaking into the ice to give it that emerald coloring. The warm water has melted it down enough, the bottom might have become lighter than the top and it rolled it over.

I hope I am wrong. And I hope the comment doesn’t take away from CL’s enjoyment of the image. Beauty does exist everywhere.

The article does indeed mention water flowing through it, and it explains how icebergs turn over. Still, it’s so beautiful…
