I’ve got an LG top loader washer / front loader dryer, and both have been quite good so far. No issues; and we always leave the lid up on the washer to make sure that it dries out after use. It’s got more tech wizardry than we’d likely ever use, but it’s been reliable.

Front loaders just don’t appeal due to the issues around molding on the door seals. The top loader I have is nearly as efficient as the front loader without the problems of front loaders.
