Hicks was more than likely a Libertarian, not a left wing liberal (even though he cited some considered ‘leftists”) since he seemed to be a selfish asshole more interested in his own “rights” than those of other people, mainly people of faith.

I’m an atheist, although I was raised in religion and in spite of it. Still, that is my personal philosophy and I don’t hate people who are believers and would never wish to harm them in any way. I don’t preach atheism nor do I try to cram in down other people’s throats, but merely express my own opinion that I can live a good life and be a good person based on my own self-examination.
