we are getting absolutely plastered here in sofla today

it hasnt let up all night
i got pasted during the morning’s run
after i got back i pumped 3” out of the pond just in case and good thing i did

most of the field is drenched or underwater as is part of our driveway and the swale.
standing water everywhere

i had to slog through a couple of inches just to get into the car and then change my shoes

it wasnt raining at publix (3 miles away) which made shopping and loading easy.
back home it was still drownpouring and of course, more standing water.

got the weekly food in, changed my clothes and it’s out again to take mom to the doc - routine stuff.

this time i’ll wear mrsdm’s new wellingtons to get me into the driver’s seat
