Do they throw candy?

The cubbies don’t, but lots of other folks do. But mostly they walk alongside the parade and hand it out, because of a terrible accident in another NM town, where a kid among the scramble for candy got killed by one of the floats.

In today’s parade, one entry was handing out bottles of cold water. Not throwing them, fortunately.
