That just shows you how stupid King really is. The idiotic thing about DEPORT THEM ALL types just never think about is that many illegal aliens let alone children and grandchildren such as yourself are very well integrated into America. In fact, if you hadnt’ said so, I’d never know you had illegal alien grandparents. And hell I don’t even know if my mom’s paternal grandparents were legal or not. What King has is that usual right wing aura of entitlement. His family has been here long enough that he doesn’t have to worry about it but lots of others would.

My grandparents fled the Nazis just before Germany invaded Poland. At the time, Slavs were prohibited from entering the USA. My grandfather then joined the US Army and went back to Europe to fight the Nazis as part of the American forces, where he was killed.

My grandmother meanwhile joined the WAC working stateside.

My father and mother both served in the US Navy; my father was killed in Vietnam when I was seven.

My sister and I were also in the military (she in the Army and me in the Navy).

But for Rep. King, we are just “anchor babies.”
