I’m still reading that as possibly going either way. It could be: “I’m not bigoted against Arabs, I’M ARABIC.”

It does suggest your reading, however.

I guess I just wasn’t prepared to assume she’s that completely illogical to build on one incorrect assumption (someone’s trying to “silence” her) by adding another (the reason is because she’s Arabic).

I won’t underestimate her stupidity again.
