It’s schizoid. Folks like Fischer are, quite bluntly, sadomasochists. They want to be in a position of authority, yet at the same time, they are deeply submissive to authority. They worship power; they crave the whip.

It’s the damn weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. He wants the government to have the authority to punish gays, unwed mothers, immigrants, Muslims, etc but he cries persecution when the feds decide “No, sorry your religious opposition to gay marriage shouldn’t disallow gays and lesbians to enjoy the same rights as you do under the law and love.” He’s a fucking punk. He makes Jerry Falwell look like a voice of reason and that’s hard as hell to do considering that mfer Falwell agreed that we deserved 9/11.
