I remember election night in 2004—I was on the phone with my friends in Ohio who were poll watchers—watching the bullshit going on, mostly thanks to Ken Blackwell. Don’t get me started—I could go on all night!

Agh I don’t even want to think about that. that was a tough night for me. That was the end of my days as an idealist.
