There are no words for that. Just that this is our country’s President.

My undergrad degree is in psychology. I see everything Trump does through a kind of abstract behavioral lense via my textbooks of 25 years ago. So I see his disgusting actions and also what they mean psychologically. And I’ve only got 4 years of study and a whole lot of follow up reading.

I cannot, cannot imagine what it’s like to be a mental health professional right now. To see all of this, know what Trump is, and having to deal with clients deeply disturbed by it and suffering from anxiety and other disorders. It’s got to be one of those life moments where they’re just enduring.
