Syria is one thing way too many Muslims in Iran to remain quiet.

Syria is at least a brother Arab country. The Iranians are Persian, and neither the Arabs nor the Turks have any love for the Persians. Furthermore, the Arab states & Turkey are all largely Sunni Muslim. The Iranians are Shia Muslim. The two sects don’t exactly get along.

So I’m not worried the Iraqis or anybody else would complain if Israel overflew them to hit Iran. The only worry is that Obama might red light the operation out of misplaced “sensitivity” to the “Arab street”.
