You know full well what I think their answer is, because I ranted about it almost two years ago—I think they intend to retroactively determine anyone who didn’t have two natural-born-citizen parents (not naturalised ones) is a naturalised citizen themselves, and that thus they can chain-strip citizenship from entire family lines, so yes, you would be.
And I really hope to be proven wrong.
Or no, wait, now I recall. “Children of already-naturalised citizens” are the only natural-born citizens, but that citizenship is only valid if the parent literally never committed even a misdemeanour—if they did, they ‘should have their citizenship stripped’ and now the child has to count as naturalised, not natural-born.
Still a way to chain-strip. And unlikely to be used on WASPS, slightly more so on white Catholics, and if someone’s brown, almost inevitable.
