I just pulled another loaf of bread out of the bread maker. I started making it only to realize after I’d added the salt, water and oil that I had run out of sugar yesterday. I was also nearly out of honey, but was able to get about two tablespoons from the jar and the squeeze bottle. I guess that was enough for the little yeasties, because the bread rose just as well as with three tablespoons of sugar.

I’ll report on the taste after the loaf cools off, or after I wake up in the morning, more likely.
