A lot of these Evangelicals have become neo-Calvinists and they would tell you that Jimmy Carter’s works were all filthy rags. I’ve listened to a few sermons by a prominent (now deceased) Calvinist and holy crap, there’s not an ounce of love in him. It’s all God is holy, God is wrathful, God can destroy you if he feels like it, and he probably has. I don’t know how anyone can be a Calvinist without losing their minds.

If you talk to a Calvinist for more than about 15 seconds, you’ll find that they probably already have.
