I used to love driving, but I’ve been putting on ~65,000 Km/yr since 1995 and I’m getting tired of it. When we go on a trip I still drive because I feel really uncomfortable being a passenger, no matter who drives.

I do a lot of 5-6 hour solo drives. For longer drives having a passenger along for conversation, navigation, and refreshment fetching makes the time go quicker and the trip less exhausting. Switching off the driving once or twice helps with this as well. Not to mention the opportunity for driving other model cars now and then. (My only experience with a Prius came from one of these trips.)
