Maisey is a red-lored Amazon, green with a red tuff over her eyes (faded, she’s over 20 years old). Red-lored Amazons don’t talk much but they imitate a lot of other animal sounds.

We had a Cacatu (also rescue) named Peaches - sweet baby - used to put her under the covers and let her roam - those sharp talons would turn on my lady fair to no end.

Yeah - weird but what the hell. Birds rule.
