The DNC’s winning in the way it has again and again since the 80s: Promoting a liberal but pragmatic agenda of protecting what we’re achieved while working to expand upon that. The Bros are pissed something fierce because they thought that losing 2016 was going to lead to a major realignment in the party, with the old-line Dems being marginalized in favor of younger “revolutionaries” who’d promote a hard-left approach.

Their biggest sticking point is that Nancy is looking likely to return to the Speakership, when they have helped the GOP in portraying her as a symbol of all that is wrong with the DNC.

I should say this but Trump’s fuck ups on trade are proving Bernie wrong too. If he runs in 2020, one of his opponents would be prudent to point that out.
