It would have to be a hell of a lot more than just legislation. We’d have to completely re-write the Constitution to reflect religious law, and the entire structure of government would have to change from a secular one to a religious one.

Basically, we’d have to give up the country we have and willingly become Iran or Afghanistan for the U.S. to ever become a theocracy.

But it would be a Christian theocracy, Lidane, and that’s different.
