That said, I’m sorry, I still don’t feel as though we’re having a real conversation here about it.

I may have missed a few turns and am not sure where the convos are. Here is my tally:

-DF getting harangued for saying he might still vote for Newt even though he’s a Black Belt Scoundrel

-Somebody still bringing Clinton up, now Hillary is getting dragged in

-Questioning the Afghan war now: partisan, or pragmatic?

SFZ: methinks that you were pragmatically questioning the Afghan war but were responded to by being assumed to be a partisan hack. I don’t recall, but think that is scurrilous because you are a non-hack and I would not expect it. The irony is that people usually responding in such a way are partisan hacks and a lot of them are gone to CJ’s credit. The place got better.

Ironically, what I sense but hope I’m wrong about, it DF getting harangued for being a partisan hack as well. DF has a pretty consistently been a non-partisan hack as well.

I remember when this place got a little too much RW Echo going on: let’s not let it turn into a LW Echo chamber. I really don’t care if it’s right or left centric but sense if it sways too far one direction the Echo Chamber Effect gets stronger. Let’s keep it down the middle, non-idiotarian and honest.
