Ludwig’s explanation for his tactics is satisfactory for me. I think he’s wrong, but I think he has an honest intention to convince through being, well, extremely provocative. Likewise, he thinks— at least on some subjects— I’m far too reserved.

Yes, there’s real rage behind what he says, but that doesn’t make him a troll.

Trying to convince through being “extremely provocative” is what Rush does. I get it.
