Weird weather here on LI today.

I’m looking at the map on Weather Underground, and it shows an area of sever t-storms over the middle of the island.

Nothing east, west, north or south of us - just that weird little area that seems to be generating a storm that is not moving, just hovering here.

The same thing was going on last night, generating a thunderstorm that woke my wife and myself out of a sound sleep and sent the animals into full tizzy mode.

Who was the dude in the Lil’ Abner comic that had a storm cloud follow him around? I’m starting to feel like that dude.
