It’s more than just the people PBS directly employs, too. A lot of the shows you see on PBS are produced independently, so there are a lot more people whose lives would be affected than just PBS employees.

I have a friend who owns a recording studio, and he does a ton of work for all the Sesame properties as well as other PBS shows. He’d take a huge hit if that revenue stream dried up.
