The irony of a guy who used to run his show on a network bankrolled by the sort of companies that have killed small businesses and stores is absolutely thick.

Apprenticeships have been falling out because people have realized that most of the big-paying jobs, the ones that are needed in a digital age, can’t be learned OJT. If you wanna build the future instead of just fix it, you need higher education.

Can I add: lower education? We desperately need to focus on the young ones before the world quashes any sense of wonder and imagination.

IMHO, we need to invest whatever it takes to make sure each child learns to read.
