The police are striking and people are taking advantage by looting, according to this report from 12/10/13.

“This leaves the number of dead from the violence at nine.

“Riots and looting first erupted last week in the northern city of Cordoba when police went on strike to demand better wages and working conditions.”

I can’t find any stories more recent than that.

This is after 10 years of the Kirchners being president. 10 years.
