I wouldn’t be surprised if Bush and Rubio try to sound “tougher” on immigration as a result of this. That’s the only way they’re going to stay viable with a crowd that really thinks you can deport all undocumented people and not expect problems to happen.

Yep, even if a establishment candidate can right their campaigns, they will have to become so extreme to do so as to cripple them for the general. And I’m beginning to wonder if the establishment will get one of their candidates like usual. I know last time the Base flirted with several candidates before Romney won the nomination, but he never polled as badly as Bush Walker Rubio Kasich and Christie are.
