Yeah ethnic grudges can be silly especially if you’re a mutt like me and they contradict themselves. Now at the same time, I have no shame in being Irish American, etc but I will never use that as a superiority thing either. Now, I do get a little emotionally involved reading about the Roma people of Europe because it seems like very few want to stand up for them there. But I’m not to the point where I return hate with hate because that’s the worst thing you can do.

Yeah, I don’t recall ever hearing of any situations where matching or raising the level of hatred turned out well. I guess that’s easy to say when you’re sitting somewhere safe & free, but still.
