IMO, the “leading thinkers” today are to be found in:

1) Physical anthropologists unraveling the details of the last million years of human evolution through combining genetics with physical remains;
2) Avant garde video makers exploring the potential of low cost, high quality video technology, and changing our expectations of art and entertainment;
3) Web advertisers who have developed approaches to personalized advertising campaigns and thus transforming commerce.

These are the types who are effectually changing our world-views, and who will influence how the later inhabitants of the 21st century view themselves.

Billionaires annually visiting skiing resorts - not so much.

I don’t think there’s one African descendent in that list. Not one.
