Sure. A few women who might make fairly decent money take on too-big-to-fail banks with armies of on-staff lawyers dragging out a case for years to try to bankrupt the plaintiffs in the meantime.

That’s one of the reasons you don’t see such cases.

My mom got screwed out of her widow’s pension from US Steel when my dad died. If not for Social Security (and a job she had selling used furniture and appliances that paid cash under the table) we would have been out on the street.

She later found out about a class action suit and received a lump-sum and a small monthly amount from it, but that was only a patch on the money we needed in 1967.

That episode taught me a lot about just how far we can trust our vaunted American Captains of Industry.
